Educator Lecturer Highlights

Created an early innovation management program at Cogswell Polytechnical College beginning in 2000 leading to the founding of SVII, the Silicon Valley Innovation Institute in 2005 a not-for-profit 501c(3) educational institution, focused on teaching organizations how to manage innovation.

Created Aesthetic Engineering courses and program bridging the arts and sciences at Cogswell Polytechnical College and rebranded the school under the heading: Fusion of Art and Engineering.

Functioned as distinguished lecturer, department chair, dean and special assistant to the president.

Presented and moderated through SVII over 100 provocative roundtable discussion programs in multiple Silicon Valley locations since its formation more than 10 years ago. Several of these expanded to initiatives which continued for some time.

Lectured to executive MBA programs at Tsinghua University in Shenzhen China and at HKUST the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and in the US on the Stanford, Berkeley Haas School of Business, San Jose State and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business campuses.

Keynoted or lectured to the International Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, the International Licensing Executive Society, International Consumer Electronics Association renamed in 2015 the Consumer Technology Association.

Keynoted 2007 Pentagon Innovation Summit held at SRI, IBM and Google.

Gave talks on innovation at BBN, Bolt, Beranek & Newman, 3M, Raytheon and MITRE.

Gave many talks for Apple and Bose and began teaching full time course load of Physics, Metrology, Statics, Dynamics, and Engineering at Rhode Island Junior College while completing MSEE at the University of Rhode Island.
