M.S. in Electrical Engineering 1980

University of Rhode Island

Combined digital audio, computer architecture, signal processing, electroacoustics and artificial intelligence to develop Musical Tone Origin Identification System Utilizing Pattern Recognition.


BS in Physics 1975

City University of New York, majored in acoustics and minored in both mathematics and music.

Designed Project Overtonalization: Built an analog spectrum analyzer to measure the relative intensity and phase of the overtones of musical instruments.

As president of Brooklyn College Physics Society built membership from under ten to over a hundred.


Present 2015-2016

Presently studying music at Juilliard in the evening division.
